The xenophobic attacks on Africans in South Africa have degenerated and extended to countries of the victims.
The brothers of the victims have launched reprisal attacks on South African businesses in their countries. Reports had it that Shoprite stores in Nigeria were invaded by Nigerians as a payback of what their brothers in South Africa are going through.
Zambians have also emulated the measures taken by Nigerians as videos of South Africans businesses being attacked are making rounds online.
In one of the videos, two South African truck drivers were flanked by an angry mob in Zambia and several businesses and shops owned by South Africans were vandalised.
