Nigerian singer and mother-of-one, Tiwa Savage, has left Mavin Records and she just signed a new record deal with Universal Music Group (UMG).
Due to the effect of the newly signed deal, Tiwa Savage had to leave the label spearheaded by Don Jazzy, Mavin Records, which she joined seven years ago. During her stay in the label, Tiwa Savage has won multiple awards and has also gotten international recognition.
“Tiwa is undoubtedly the most hardworking and talented female artist crossing over from Africa to the rest of the world, and UMG has demonstrated its commitment to the continent by placing its formidable machinery behind her amazing career. Partnerships like these symbolize the hopes and dreams of so many talented artists back home in Africa and it is an honor to be the executive producers of her project.”

The Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has bid Tiwa Savage farewell as he sent her message showing support and thanking her for an awesome 7 years with the label.
