Hungry 5 Years Old Boy Calls Emergency '911' To Order For Pizza- So Police Bring Him One If most people call the emergency services asking for a pizza, they could expect a slap on the wrist, or worse.

A five-year-old boy had a lucky experience though, and actually got what he asked for.

Manuel Beshara, from Connecticut, US, picked up his home telephone and dialled 911 telling officers he was hungry.

Giving how young the boy was, three officers were sent to his home to conduct a well-being check and assess whether he was being looked after.

They arrived to find Manuel and his 15-year-old sister, who said they were both fine and her brother had called the police without her knowledge.

Officers gave young Manuel a little lecture on how to use the emergency number correctly before ordering him a piping hot pizza, fulfilling his wish.

In a Facebook incident, Sanford Police Department wrote: “Officers Morales, Mejia, and Hernandez responded to a home on Key Haven Dr., for a well-being check on a 911 call made by a juvenile.

“While officers were on their way, dispatch informed them that the child told them he was hungry and wanted to order pizza. After arriving on the scene, officers met the young boy and his older sister.

“She told officers they were fine and her brother had grabbed the phone without her knowledge.

“Officers used it as an opportunity to teach about the proper use of 911, then went and bought a large box of pizza and personally delivered it.”

It isn’t the first time a child has called the emergency services for the wrong reasons.

In April, a five-year-old boy from Michigan called the police to order a McDonalds.

Iziah Hall gave 911 a ring, asking the dispatcher: “Can you bring me McDonald’s?”

Dispatcher Sara Kuberski said she couldn’t, but contacted police officer Dan Patterson who conducted a welfare check on him.

She told local US news station WZZM: “I was laughing to myself … 5-year-old calls dispatch and orders McDonald’s.”

Officer Patterson drove to Iziah’s home to check up on him but stopped along a McDonald’s restaurant to get him food.
